Domaine de la bouriette is not a grand distinguished vineyard. But we have plans and are working towards it. What it does produce are good wines that are fruity, smooth and well balanced. The wines are tenderly made and lovely to drink. Home isa vineyard in the heart of cathar country, earth baked by long, hot summers in the rolling hills of the Malepere. The smell of olive, wild thyme and figs that entwine themselves in the vineyard. Wildflowers cover the soil, free from the pesticides that could wipe them out and adding to the beauty of the vineyard.
Domaine de la Bouriette offers tourists and travellers a secluded, relaxed setting for the weekend or weeks getaway. Our gites and chalets are a lovely alternative to hotels or campsites in the region. There is plenty to do, visit the captivating walled city of Carcassonne, walk along the Canal du Midi, horseriding, canoeing, walking, cycling, explore the vineyard, relax by the swimming pool (ready for April 2008) or just chill with a glass of wine. The choice is yours.
